PROJECT

18 months after the implementation of a new ERP system the stock value in the company increased 3-fold from an average historical stock holding of around US$34 million to a stock holding totalling US$113 million

RESULT

An analysis of the ERP system and the Procure to Pay process revealed gaps in processes and user behaviour.  Processes were improved and users were trained in the correct way of working.  A clean-up and improvement project followed.  In a period of exactly two months a stock reduction to the value of US$68.5 million was achieved
